About Us
At Calman Trust we support young people aged 14-25 who are at risk of being left behind as a result of their personal challenges.
The Calman offer of practical learning and individual support equips young people to progress at their own pace towards and develop the skills and understanding they need to manage independent living, leading to a readiness for employment, and the tools to sustain this. Young people can join at any point, depending on their stage and future plans.
All our opportunities are available to young people as individuals or in small groups. Time is taken to establish a relationship with each young person, where they can understand and feel understood, where prior adverse experience is addressed. Each young person has a plan which is ‘owned’ and meaningful, their progress measured and communicated clearly.
